SUMMARY: The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a Football Administration Intern to assist in all aspects of Football Administration while learning about what the department handles such as Salary Cap Management, NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement Compliance, and Player Contract Negotiations. As the Football Admin Intern, you will work closely with our Football Administration department while also having the opportunity to learn about other departments in Player Personnel and work on a five weeklong project to gain hands-on experience in the industry. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This internship will last for five weeks, and employee will be required to be in Eagan, Minnesota for the duration of the employment. Employment dates will run end of July through August 2024 (exact dates to be determine with release of 2024 Training Camp details).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Assist with rookie and veteran player training camp check-in days

Reconcile player information form changes with League database

Assist with training camp Player Per Diem tracking and attendance

Assist with handling agent sideline pass requests for preseason game(s)

Assist with preparing, getting signatures for, and distributing player termination forms

Assist with preparing and getting signatures for other miscellaneous player documents

Assist with verifying compliance of training camp schedules

Assist with tracking and submitting payment for player appearances

Assist with managing agent training camp visits and credentials and informing personnel staff of daily visits

Support Football Ops/Personnel with various projects/tasks as necessary

Support EVP of Football Operations and Manager of Football Administration with research/projects as needed

Assist with miscellaneous daily tasks as needed

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Interested in a career in Football Administration – Salary Cap, Contracts, Compliance

Sports Administration/Law/Math/Finance/Statistics degree preferred or currently pursuing

General experience with or knowledge of the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement

Full training camp/preseason availability
