Job Description
Halco Lighting Technologies, one of the fastest growing lighting products supplier, is seeking an experienced Inside sales rep. Position will be based in Norcross, GA and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Interacting with customers to explore and uncover needs then suggest value added solutions
Proactively and productively solve problems and identify opportunities for customers and the company
Managing a portfolio of existing accounts including order entry, customer returns, rebates, warranty claims, credit requests, and cross selling while developing revenue opportunities
Working collaboratively as necessary with regional sales managers to manage pipeline of opportunities as well as field support
Submitting special price requests to pricing and preparing formal quotations
Fielding calls for stock checks and customer pricing
Responding in a timely and professional manner to any/all customer inquiries, questions, and/or concerns received via phone, e-mail, or fax.
Following up on any open issues until they are handled to completion
Communicate to appropriate internal resources any potential new and/or add-on sales opportunities, at-risk customers, competitive data, and/or other information that might be relevant to the overall business.
Provide sales support for assigned regional sales manager including competition of item crosses
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of three years of inside sales experience in a distribution-based business a must
Experience selling lighting products in an inside sales role a plus
Excellent communication skills and quick learner
Energetic, motivated, results driven, and good organization skills
Proven skills in prospecting and closing jobs
Problem solver
Willing to take on new challenges
Detailed oriented
