Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing world-class order-to-invoice customer satisfaction, to include order entry and confirmation, communication of shipment details, and invoice issue resolution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Enters orders and updates into our SAP system, which includes auditing orders received for availability and informing customer of shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.

Reviews electronic customer orders and change requests through EDI, web-based portals, spreadsheets, and performs updates in SAP system.

Assists Accounts Receivable department regarding invoice discrepancies.

Performs as the conduit for customer complaints in regards to shipments and products.

Determines delivery implications and resolves problems or concerns meeting customer demand. When needed, be able to negotiate with the customer regarding the responsibility of premium freight.

Evaluates critical orders and inventory shortages and assigns priorities. Communicates needs to production, scheduling, and shipping.

Qualifications

Required:

Associates degree or certificate

Minimum two (2) + years of customer service experience

Very strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent Excel skills

Excellent troubleshooting skills (Orders, change orders, customer issues, etc.)

Preferred:

Manufacturing-related CSR experience

Class 8/automotive and/or Plastics product experience

SAP (or another ERP system such as Oracle or JD Edwards) experience

Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently
