2nd Shift Kettle Cooked Chip Fryer/Sanitation

Job Description

SUMMARY

Ensures a quality product by operating the kettle cooked chip fryer and helping to maintain a clean work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for frying the kettle-cooked chips.

Inspects peeled potatoes before frying.

Inspects finished potato chips.

Cleans machines, conveyors, walls, and floors.

Cleans with high pressure, water, caustic and acidic chemicals.

Sweeps and cleans up picnic, parking lot and other outside areas.

Recognize problems with equipment or product and reports to management.

Operates popcorn line.

Operates forklift as needed.

Follows proper safety practices and procedures as a routine duty of position.

Fills in for other related positions as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general equivalency diplomas (GED) and;

Three to six months related experience and/or training or;

Equivalent Combination or education and experience.
