Regal Staffing Services in Arlington is currently hiring for Maintenance/Engineer Technician in the Arlington, TX 76011.

Job location: Arlington, TX 76011

Hire terms: Temp/Temp to Hire

Shift hours: 10:00Pm – 6:30am Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $25.00hr/ hour depending on experience

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance/Engineer), supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes from mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for all production equipment and systems within the facility. The position is responsible for repairing and installing advanced production/manufacturing equipment. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer’s specifications. May mentor and provide support to less experienced mechanics. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes more complicated repairs or adjustments as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform preventative maintenance on more advanced/sophisticated production equipment.

Perform repairs on more advanced production equipment as needed.

Perform breakdown analysis.

Oversee or perform general housekeeping and upgrade production lines with new/upgraded equipment/technology.

Direct activities of outside contractors working on assigned line.

Change line for package changeovers.

Enforce GMP, safety, and audit standards.

Work independently under limited supervision (self-management)

Documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed.

Respond effectively to all emergencies.

Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.

Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.

Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.

Maintains a clean and safe work environment and maintains compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.

Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed, using work order system.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’ or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
