Social Media Compliance Analyst

On behalf of our client in Vancouver, BC, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Social Media Compliance Analyst for a 12-months contract position. This position is a 100% remote position for candidates legally able to work in the US and/or Canada

Role:

We are seeking several Compliance Analyst to fulfill a crucial role in our organization. You will be responsible for tracking creator compliance related to unpaid marketing opportunities and affiliate programs. The Compliance Analyst will be reviewing YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok videos produced by creators to confirm the presence of a disclaimer statements.

In addition to this, the Compliance Analyst will email any Creator who is non-compliant and track instances of those violations via a spreadsheet following a process laid out and managed by the client.

Responsibilities:

Tracking Compliance for Unpaid Opportunity Participants:

Cadenced tracking of non-compliant instances.

Sending templated messages to Creators who are out of compliance via email.

Coordinating with community managers when assigned Creators are out of compliance.

Reporting on a weekly basis to Creator Operations leadership

Tracking Compliance for Affiliate Program:

Cadenced tracking of non-compliant instances.

Manual checking for mentions of the affiliate program.

Auditing posts to ensure non-approved content types aren't advertising affiliate codes.

Reporting on a weekly basis to Creator Operations leadership

Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with major social media platforms and comfortable navigating them

Familiarity with major office/productivity toolsets such as Google Docs and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves:

Some post-secondary experience in a degree or non-degree program will be preferred.
