Calling All Volunteers!

Helping In His Name Ministries, Inc. (aka, The Food Pantry) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit inter-denominational Christian organization, and one of the largest faith-based food assistance ministries in Henry County, Georgia.

Volunteers are the cornerstone of this ministry.

Our Volunteers give of their personal time with a compassionate heart to serve, love, and bless those in need within our community.

We would love to have you join our awesome Team!

We are always grateful to have people volunteer here so to help bless families in need within our community.

You are welcome to volunteer here whenever you have the opportunity.

The following is some information regarding volunteering:

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Volunteer help is always welcome anytime during our operating hours.

We distribute food to families and individuals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Tuesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and Thursday evenings 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Currently, our greater need for volunteer help is with distributing food to families and individuals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, but we always have projects to work on throughout the day, so anytime throughout the entire day is also greatly appreciated.

When new volunteers come to the Food Pantry, they can ask for Darren, who will greet them and go over some information regarding the Food Pantry.

New volunteers will need to complete information forms prior to starting volunteer work.
