This remote position spans across the insurance, legal, and medical arenas. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to be hired on permanently by the client, no guarantee.

In this role, you will be arbitrating payment disputes in the independent review process. Job duties will include, but not be limited to:

Reviews all credible documentation received from involved parties

Review eligibility determinations based on guidelines.

Assist in creating policy documentation, processes, procedures, and job aids

Serve as a subject matter expert regarding regulations.

Act as an advisor on legal issues involving compliance.

Coordinate with internal counsel for litigation and legal matters.

Ensure solutions are consistent with organizational objectives.

Any other related duties, as assigned

Days/Hours: Monday â Friday, 8 AM â 5 PM

Salary: $32.50/hr Benefits available!

Minimum Qualifications:

JD Education required; licensed attorney preferred

3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.

Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Minimum of 3-5 years of arbitrating or adjudicating medical claims.

Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated work environment.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and communication skills.

Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.

Work across multiple systems, such as SharePoint, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office products.

Healthcare Law experience, highly preferred.

Litigation experience, preferred.

Legal writing experience, preferred.

Medical coding experience, preferred.
