PARTY CHIEF SURVEYOR/CONSTRUCTION SURVEYOR

Nickolas Savko & Sons is currently hiring an experienced Construction Surveyor. This is a long term position with growth opportunity and advancement. Salary and benefits to match qualifications.

Nickolas Savko & Sons, 77 years in Columbus, is a Street & Site Work Contractor that performs Mass Grading & Excavation, Paving, Storm Sewer, Sanitary & Waterline Utilities and Structures.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to a strong background in the following areas of construction field layout:

Earthwork Grading

New Road Construction

Sewer and Waterline Layout

You must be able to perform all survey calculations and projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

Minimum 5-10 years experience as a Construction Surveyor

Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications

Proficient in AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center

Strong knowledge of Robotic Stations, Total Stations, Trimble GPS and Data Collection

Must be able to perform all survey layout calculations

Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to details

Good understanding of various State and local industry related specifications

Must have a proven track record and be a self starter

Must have a valid Drivers License

$35 TO $38 TO START WITH OVERTIME COMPENSATION AND SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO REALIZE $85,000 TO $100,000 PER YEAR.
