What you'll be doing:

The RF Engineer designs wireless system with vendor supplied electronics; selects sites, performs operational changes and spectrum management.

Performs site selection/placement, tower height evaluation, antenna selection, output power levels and other details involved with the transmission and reception of cellular telephony.

Evaluates spectrum utilization at each site, its ability to support traffic and its impact on the system, coordinates with adjacent systems and respective companies.

Monitors and trends current system performance, makes changes to improve performance to meet market objectives of minimal dropped calls and quality audio. Analyze E911 and analyze drive test data.

Assist Site Acquisition manager with coordinating and completing processing of all legal permits and processes associated with site design; includes dealing with FAA, FCC, state, city, county and local villages and townships.

Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering degree or comparable experience required.

Valid Driver’s license
