TITLE: SUPPLY OF SPARE PARTS AT MUKUNGWA HPP.

REF: 11.07.022/613 /G/ICB/23-24/EUCL-GEN-PROC/CG/24

The Energy Utility Corporation Limited (hereinafter called ‘’Client”) funded by his Ordinary Budget towards the cost of the tender of Supply of Spare Parts for Mukungwa Hydro Power Plant. The Client intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Bidding Document is issued.

The Energy Utility Corporation Limited invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the supply of Spare Parts for Mukungwa Hydro Power Plant as indicated in detail in the statement of Requirements.

Tender Documents may be obtained on any working day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at EUCL Headquarter, KN82 ST Nyarugenge District, 1st Floor, Room N G114, the Secretariat Office of the Procurement Management of EUCL, E-mail:,, upon presentation of a proof payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand Rwandan Francs (10,000 Frw) deposited to Account N opened at I & M Bank, Rwanda, or (Ten United states dollars (10 USD) deposited on account No 00040-00691030-35 (USD) opened at Bank of Kigali (BK) with Code IBAN: RW 40000400069103035003.

Acompulsory site visit is scheduled to take place on 29th and 30th /04/2024 at 10:30 a.m to 3:00 p.m local time at Mukungwa Hydro Power Plant. Companies that will visit, will receive the site visit certificates.

All bids shall be accompanied by a“Bid Security” of 1,300,000 Rwf or 1,000 USD.

7. Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in Two copies one of which is the original must reach the Secretariat of the Procurement Management at the address mentioned above not later than 24th/05/2024 at 10:00 a.m. Late bids and electronics bids will be rejected and returned unopened.

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at EUCL main board room on 24th /05/2024 at 10:30 a.m local time

9. The Outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender name and title.

10. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the REG Procurement procedures manual.
