Genesys Cloud Engineer

Genesys Cloud Engineer W2 ONLY Location: Charlotte, NC Setting: Hybrid schedule is preferred and would be 2-3 days/week in office.

Contract: 12 Months+ Pay rate: $75+ Description: • Experience developing in Genesys Pure Cloud.

• Work as part of a cross-functional team responsible for full end to end development of the Genesys application.

• They are expected to learn and contribute outside of their normal skill set.

• In addition, they are expected to teach existing resources as the company their development skills in Genesys Cloud.

• Applicant must have extensive experience in Genesys Pure Cloud, understanding of telecom to include SBCs and SIP, experience building call flows for inbound and outbound, email, chat, and SMS, • Prior experience with Genesys Cloud Implementation and/or Administration is highly preferred.

• Genesys Cloud Professional Certifications desired.

• An ability to drive the decision-making processes for Contact Center Design, Implementation and Support.

• Knowledge of contact center skills, including but not limited to, ACD, IVR, NLP/NLU, Automated Dialers, Queuing, Skilling, VoIP, DID, TFN, DNIS, ACD Email, Web Messaging and SMS.

• Experience in implementing capabilities including (but not limited to): Omni-channel Outbound, Queuing, Routing, Flow Building (Architect), Analytics, Speech Analytics, Call Recording, Workforce Management, AI/ML, Chatbots etc.

Individuals with this role are required to: • Design and build highly complex software solutions using agile/XP/TDD.

• Program well-designed, efficient code independently.

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners to build cloud native software solutions targeting PCF, Azure, AWS, mobile iOS/Android, etc.

• Clearly communicate team wide progress and identify blocking processes/patterns that hold a team back.

• Participate in paired programming and code reviews with juniors to expand the team s collective knowledge and understanding of software engineering.

• Complete independent research to refine best practices and present work to peers.

Senior Software Engineer must possess: • A breadth of experience building software solutions (through a strong mix of independent research/projects and industry expertise). • 5-7 years previous experience in software development.

(Either 7 years of experience specifically in software development or five years of experience in software development in combination with 2 years alternative experience in a related field). • Ideally has a portfolio of work code samples, etc.
