Mold Maker â Plastics â Base Salary to 45.00/hour â Hackensack, NJ

Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer. They are a global company and rapidly growing.

The Mold Maker will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining molds and providing guidance on tooling issues throughout the plant.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate milling, lathe, surface grinders, and basic machine shop equipment.

Building and repairing molds.

Read blueprints, sketches, and CAM/CAM files to determine mold specifications.

Lead the preventative maintenance program for manual and automatic equipment.

Utilize CAD software for mold design.

Perform maintenance and repairs on existing molds.

Troubleshoot mold and die issues in the shop and in current production.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Qualifications:

5+ years of CAD/CAM software experience.

Experienced using Proto TRAK milling machine.

5+ years of CRM software experience.

Ability to use 3D files to program CNC machines.

Mold maker or tool maker journeyman certification (or equivalent).

Compensation:

Base salary in the 40.00 â 45.00/hour range
