About the position!

Join us at Upfield and play an exciting role in shaping the future of brands like Rama, Delma, Flora and ProActiv.

As an Experienced Specialist, working closely with Power Brands Group Manager you will implement global strategies daily and will enforce the actions taken to make all plans come true!

Be the genius marketing mastermind who is managing the full marketing mix, including brand equity. Lead new product ideas set for launch in 2024 and coordinate implementation alongside various departments. We need your investor mindset and go-to-market attitude to speed up the plant-based food trend in Hungary to maximize our brands’ growth potential.

Execution of marketing campaigns (align with global strategy) and communication assets will be your main projects.

Marketing people are gravity points at Upfield. Leading and efficiently coordinating projects with other local departments (trade marketing, sales, finance) will be your weekly, even daily routine.

You will trigger and lead discussions on business potentials, portfolio development, P&L, ROI, customer specific activations and investments etc.

Being a company with investor mindset means measuring, tracking, and monitoring is essential and helps us making the right decisions. Reporting the performance of marketing campaigns and activities, as well as assessing against business goals will be one of your key roles.

Your local knowledge is essential in helping Upfield to grow bigger. We need your analytical thinking, observation, curiosity, and your honest desire to deep dive into market research and Nielsen numbers to understand consumer/shopper needs and trends and transforming them into strategic opportunities for our brands.

Cooperating with global functions (R&D, Marketing, Regulatory) you will be the first touch-point to gather information and wider knowledge about brands, recipes, ingredients, regulations which then need to be put into the hands of local businesses.

Yes, it's true, you will be responsible for many operational tasks, but this is where your strength lies, you will have a real impact on the implementation of global strategies on the local market!

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You have few years of marketing experience with different brands at an international company (not necessarily in FMCG, but it would be a plus).

You have strong passion for driving business and ambition to create breakthrough results, you are eager to learn and develop.

You believe you are the driver of change with a "can do" mindset. Problem solving is in your DNA.

You are constructive, you have an open communication style, easily connect with others, yet you are confident with firm voice. You easily adjust to changing circumstances.

Languages: Hungarian (at a native speaker level), English (advanced).
