Job Description

We are a local fast-growing facility supply distributor and construction specialties supplier/installer who prides ourselves in taking the pain out of procurement for our customers. Since 1915 we have been partnering with our customers to help understand their facility and janitorial supply needs and look for solutions. With our strong supplier relationships, we supply to facility mangers, business owners, property managers, and purchasing managers - cleaning and janitorial supplies and equipment, breakroom supplies, foodservice supplies, outdoor furnishings such as picnic tables, benches, bike racks, trash and recycling receptacles, entrance mats, and ice melt. We work with general contractors and owners to supply and install construction specialties and site furnishings.

Responsibilities and duties:

Analyzes bid opportunities including specifications and plans to determine projects to bid and bid/project requirements.

Requests estimates from possible vendors

Prepare takeoffs and estimates material to complete jobs

Confers with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on cost estimates.

Recommends ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and skills:

Minimum of 1 year of estimating including reading and understanding construction plans and specifications

Valid driver's license

High School Diploma/GED

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Company Description
