Construction Project Manager

Job Description

General Contracting Company is seeking a reliable, well rounded, experienced professional to join our Naples based team.

Individual will be responsible for project management of multiple light commercial construction / renovation projects throughout the SW Florida area.

Position requires minimum 5 years commercial construction management experience.

Qualified candidate must possess the following:

Knowledge of commonly used construction concepts, practices and procedures.

Ability to read plans and documents.

Positive attitude.

Superior interpersonal skills both verbally and written.

Superior organizational skills.

Superior time management skills.

Experience using MS Office.

Procore experience a plus.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Desire to grow with the company and assume greater responsibilities.

Clean driving record.

Ability to pass both drug testing and background checks.

Relevant experience must include:

Attracting, retaining, maintaining good subcontractor and supplier relations.

Detailed scope review with subcontractors and vendors for project scope and capacity to ensure they have the appropriate ability, manpower and resources to complete projects within the project guidelines and requirements.

Reviewing and leveling bids across all subcontractors to ensure pricing comparisons accurate and include a complete scope of work.

Preparation of comprehensive proposal packages.

Plan and spec. review and quantity take-offs.

Solicitation, monitoring and collection of subcontractor bids.

Providing direction and acting as the leader of the project team.

Ensuring project information file is complete, accurate and updated as necessary.

Issue and monitor subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders.

Manage shop drawing and submittal process.

Executing billing and collection of payment for the work.

Proven track record of excellent client relations.
