Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Shirley, MA

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Shirley, MA. The Special Education Teacher will provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities

Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, social skills, and life skills based on students' IEP goals

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and acmodate various learning styles

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success and progress

Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction and interventions as needed

Use evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to support students' academic and behavioral growth

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions

Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or related field

Valid Massachusetts teaching license with Special Education endorsement

Experience working with students with disabilities preferred

Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices

Strong munication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues
