Job Details

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.

Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.

Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.

Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.

Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements.

Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures.

Writing management and technical reports and customers’ charters.

Determining relevant quality associated training needs and delivering training.

Collating and analyzing performance data against defined parameters.

Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.

Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks, often in a laboratory environment.

Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures.

Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.

Directing objectives to maximize profitability.

Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information.

Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.

Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Energy industry.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, CQI, and other relevant quality control standards.

Experience in the oil and gas industry, rubber manufacturing industry, metal industry, and molded products.

Proficiency in welding, coating, and machining processes.

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

Ability to travel as required.

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or similar certification is a plus.
