Now we are looking for a dynamic, outgoing and enthusiastic – Guest Service Officer with strong background and experience in Front Office to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Bali.

The Guest Service Officer will be responsible for handling guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.

As a Guest Service Officer, you will be reporting directly to the Guest Service Team Leader and below are some of the key responsibilities:

Provides the appropriate level of professional, courteous and caring service to other employees (internal customers) and other visitors to the division.

Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.

Responsible for facilitating efficient communications for both guests and staff both within the hotel and for external communications.

Provides quality service to guests, staff, and incoming calls and a wide range of information pertaining to the hotel and Activities in and around the island.

Acts proficiently in all aspects of emergency procedures. Remains calm, alert, and efficient in the event of a major incident or problem at the hotel and maintains professional discretion.

Provides general information to guests when necessary.

Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

Minimum of 1 year of solid experience as Guest Service Officer in a large 5-star luxury hotel or resort.

Has a solid background of working in a high demand business environment.

Has strong customer service and communication skills.

Has relevant experience in night operations and is able to work on night shifts.

Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken.

Is well versed in working with Property Management System such as OPERA, RESERVE for room reservations, and other systems.

Has proven track of working with timelines and targets.

Highly conscientious and diligent.

Diploma in Hospitality or other relevant fields. A Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
