Global Digital Services (GDS) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our MISSION is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture.

Our team is responsible for Marketing Digitalization & Customer Intelligence, including Data Privacy related topics which are a crucial requirement in order to conduct appropriate marketing activities. We support providing digital tools and processes to retain and uplift BASFs marketing capabilities.

One key part to success is building a trusted and reliable communication with customers and ensure staying compliant. To do so, BASF has established a Global Data Privacy Platform which is demonstrating compliance by centralizing marketing consents and further legal bases. An expert group of the team manages part of the platforms in order to cope with many different regulations existing worldwide (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, LDPD, PIPEDA and many more). The number of regulations and requirements is steadily increasing which leads to a higher demand within BASFs business getting appropriate guidance and consultancy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as a Global / Regional representative of BASF Digital community, supporting BASF Digital roadmap, helping GDS to identify, execute and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable way.

To drive the digital marketing strategies of the Business Units, following main activities are in your area of responsibility:

Drive and continuously improve BASF’s data privacy strategy in close collaboration with BASF s legal team

Collect requirements for building realization concepts for data privacy and the proper implementation of a legal base management system

Contribute to the development of legal compliance within respective product families as well as BASF globally

Consult and guide our BASF divisions in implementing our portfolio of the Global Data Privacy Management platform including the Corporate Consent Catalogue

Likewise, ensure adherence to our legal and security standards

Closely collaborate with external service providers and implementation partners

Hands-on experience with agile methodologies

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Degree in computer science, business informatics, informatics, data science, information systems or in a comparable field

Minimum 2 years related working experience

Technical & Professional Knowledge

Strong digital mindset to accelerate BASF Digital Transformation journey

Creativity and team spirit

Fluent communication skills in English

Experience in project and change management including presentation skills

Analytical mindset with the ability to transfer insights into actions

Experience in programming languages (HTML, Javascript, JSON, Python) and APIs

Experience in agile way of working

Microsoft Office

NICE TO HAVE

Knowledge in common Consent Management and Web Compliance Tools like "OneTrust"

Web Services, Rest

GIT, Jira

Azure DevOps and agile tools
