About the role:

As a Reconciliation Analyst, you will support complex monthly balance sheet reconciliations. You will be liaising with different teams to resolve issues in your assigned accounts and help in identifying process improvements that will help FinOps team achieve its goals to support the company’s plans for rapid growth.

What you will own:

Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, you will:

Prepare complex monthly transactional and balance sheet reconciliations

Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to resolve data integrity and reporting issues

Prepare month end journals as required

Update documentation outlining the reconciliation process

Identify opportunities to improve the process

Assist and support the automation of the reconciliation process

Take ownership of accounts assigned for reconciliation and resolving issues in it.

Support the wider Finance team as needed

What you bring to the table:

Finance based degree with 3 to 4 years experience in any one of the following areas: Reconciliations, Audit/Accounts preparation, working in a shared service centre, forensic accounting.

Experience in analysing large volumes of data, typically low transaction values.

Experience in working on projects with timely and successful completion.

Attention to detail.

Confident spreadsheet skills – SUMIF, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP.

The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A flexible individual who enjoys working in a changing environment, with an enjoyment of problem-solving and a strong analytical mindset.

An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
