One of our esteemed clients is currently seeking a Stationary Engineer (3rd Class) to become a valuable addition to the team.

Responsibilities:

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers to ensure efficient workflow.

Identify, investigate, and rectify potential environmental and safety concerns, maintaining a safe work environment.

Provide recommendations for personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to optimize team performance.

Establish and manage work schedules to meet production goals and deadlines.

Prepare comprehensive production and other relevant reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

Recommend and implement measures to enhance productivity and product quality, driving continuous improvement.

Collaborate with maintenance teams to provide necessary information for maintenance plans, ensuring operational objectives are met.

Coordinate work activities with other departments to streamline processes and improve cross-functional collaboration.

Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure adherence to standards.

Handle material, equipment, and supply requisitions to support operational needs effectively.

Resolve work-related issues promptly and recommend measures to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Oversee the safety of operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Set up machines and equipment for production tasks, ensuring proper functioning and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology or equivalent experience.

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Attention to detail, flexibility, and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and ethical conduct.

Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges effectively.
