Job description:
The Customer Care Agent takes the “You’re in Good Hands” philosophy and makes it real – delivering on our promises to consumers every day. Our agencies are open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. Our standard work week for agency staff is 37.5 hours, and each employee must rotate their work schedule so that the Agency is staffed appropriately. Therefore, as a condition of employment, you will be required to work either 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm as well as Saturdays each month on a rotational basis with other Agency staff members.
Accountabilities:
Manage the renewals process
Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross sell our product line
Use each customer contact as an opportunity to get referrals
Be the first point of contact for customers and service their needs
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
Must have General Insurance License (OTL) or be willing to obtain
Strong knowledge of Allstate Products and Services
Working knowledge of Allstate & vendor technologies, including Plus
Bonus Qualifications:
Prior experience in inside or outside sales is an asset
