Position

Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts. The Risk Management Analyst will report directly to the Head of Risk Management. The Risk Management Analyst will support the execution of the enterprise risk management framework across all Rockefeller Capital Management businesses and support functions. The Risk Management Analyst will assist the firm’s Head of Risk Management in the development and execution of the firm’s risk management programs including but not limited to:

• Risk policies/framework maintenance.• Risk appetite monitoring.• Management of errors/losses/lessons learned.• Tracking of outstanding issues.• Execution of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).• Control testing.• Risk metric reporting.• Governance material preparation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the drafting and maintenance of risk policies and procedures, including recommendations for continuous enhancements to keep up with evolving business and risk landscape. • Maintain the incidents database by logging and categorizing errors/losses utilizing the Firm’s risk taxonomy. Conduct appropriate risk analytics and produce management reporting. • Tracking of open risk exposures and remediation status.• Documentation of RCSAs including key controls, residual/inherent risks, and control enhancements.• Conduct targeted controls testing to validate control effectiveness.• Collect key risk indicators (KRIs) across the Firm and produce risk reporting for executive management. • Assist with the preparation of committee/working group presentations and related materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related work experience. • 1-3 years of experience in financial services industry or internal control role• Understanding of enterprise risk management concepts including operational and credit risks. • Experience in wealth management (Broker/Dealer, RIA), banking, asset management industry a plus.
