Product Marketing Manager, The Vivally System

Avation Medical is actively recruiting a Product Marketing Manager to ensure that The Vivally System, the only FDA-cleared, closed-loop, at-home wearable neuromodulation device system to treat the symptoms of overactive bladder (OAB), becomes widely accessible to all patients in the US who suffer from symptoms of OAB. As the Vivally Product Marketing Manager, you will be the leader of the marketing and promotional efforts to support the launch of this new, disruptive technology and you will work closely with Avation Leadership to articulate Vivally’s value proposition and drive positioning and promotion of Vivally.

Key Responsibilities

The Vivally Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for all commercial and market activities with a goal to drive awareness and adoption of the technology. The Product Marketing Manager will:

Develop a comprehensive marketing plan including position strategy, customer segmentation, messaging, pricing strategy, and brand communication initiatives to promote awareness of Vivally and support the sales and growth objectives of the company

Spend significant time on the field with sales personnel and customers to understand their perspective and ideas. Stay at the forefront of changing market dynamics and customer needs and preferences. Represent the prescriber and patient during internal meetings and represent the company at advisory boards and medical congresses

Monitor market and competitor developments to ensure that Vivally remains well differentiated and adopted

Conduct primary and secondary market research to monitor prescriber and patient satisfaction.

Coordinate patient centric and prescriber centric awareness campaigns, including social media outreach, to achieve awareness and adoption

Foster positive relationships with key opinion leaders to develop advocates for the Vivally System

Collaborate with a wide variety of internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, clinical, and R&D to drive alignment and smooth execution of marketing strategies

Maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements including HIPAA

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree; marketing or related field

At least 3-5 years of product marketing experience in the medical device field; Field sales and early product launch experience a plus

Demonstrated skill set in product and market assessment methodologies and experience supporting downstream marketing activities and the implementation of marketing plans

Previous experience within a DME healthcare environment a plus

Experience designing and developing customer facing print and digital assets

Knowledge and skills

Comfortable dealing closely with sales representatives, physicians, and patients

Ability to analyze and synthesize market, clinical, and technical data

Self-directed, proactive, and results driven with strong organizational and interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication abilities; Detail oriented and organized

Ability to work alone, cross-functionally and in teams

Willingness and ability to travel

Ability to work cross-functionally with all business areas working collaboratively towards creating marketing strategies that support product launch and enhancement

Develops solutions to complex problems which require regular use of ingenuity and innovation

Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

Capable of aligning business needs with organizational goals and objectives

Ability to manage conflict resolution and build consensus between individuals/groups

Physical Requirements

Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.
