Job Description

Job Title: Die Setter (2nd shift- Direct Hire)

Job Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated, dependable, and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Die Setter.

Die Setters must be knowledgeable of Pressroom operations and have a high mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities (This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary).

Verify die maintenance has been done according to the die tag.

Confirm that the Spectrum is set-up correctly for that particular set-up.

Follow die setting procedure according to for each press, verifying at the same time that set-up sheets are updated and/or changed if needed.

Keep presses stocked with materials.

Document piece counts for the end of each run, shift change and/or changing of job.

Observe the visual and gage quality of the presses in an assigned area.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Skilled with both hand and power tools

Must possess demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Computer operating and programming skills
