Description:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispatch, including scheduling, routing, and coordinating delivery activities.

2. Develop and implement efficient dispatch processes and procedures to streamline operations and improve productivity.

3. Coordinate with processing and packaging to ensure timely availability of packaged dairy items for dispatch.

4. Plan and organize delivery routes to minimize transit times and transportation costs while maximizing efficiency.

5. Monitor vehicle fleet, including maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, and driver performance, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.

6. Supervise dispatch staff, including drivers and dispatch coordinators, and provide guidance and support as needed.

7. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance logs, and inventory levels.

8. Resolve any issues or delays in the dispatch process, such as vehicle breakdowns, traffic congestion, or product shortages, in a timely and effective manner.

9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including food safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies.

10. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, customer service, and processing & packaging, to address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and improve service levels.

**Requirements:**

1. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

2. Proven experience in dispatch management or logistics coordination, preferably in the food industry.

3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and targets.

4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

5. Proficiency in logistics software and systems for route planning, scheduling, and tracking deliveries.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and customers.

7. Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

8. Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

9. Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
