Summary: Assist in supply and critical spares inventory, issue of supplies and other warehouse duties.

Qualifications:

Education: High School/GED

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:A: Job Specific:

Responsible for incoming and outgoing merchandise and for managing stock.

Unload incoming shipments from delivery vehicles, inspect incoming merchandise and deliveries to ensure material is not damaged, in good condition, that quantities are correct, and move merchandise to the appropriate storage areas. Report and document any differences.

Mark materials with identifying information, sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence using the First In – First Out inventory method.

Prepare outgoing shipments, check that orders are correct, have second person check order, and load delivery vehicles.

Write reports regarding shipments and inventory levels, place labels on goods, maintain storage area, replenish, work supplies, handle independent tasks as needed.

Maintain price list for inventory items.

Determine the appropriate inventory controls by determining how much of each type of equipment or merchandise is needed.

Research the accuracy of product details.

Perform quality checks on stored inventory and discard inventory, according to policy, that does not meet standards.

Update deliveries and inventory count, maintain inventory records.Company Specific:

Reports to work on times scheduled; stay awake and alert during work/training; adheres to policies regarding notification of absence.

Attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings.

Complies with all organizational policies and procedures, to include all ethical business practices.

Maintains current licensure/certification for position, if applicable.

Consistently follows departmental and company Health, Safety, Security, Hazardous Materials policies and procedures (OSHA, SDS information, HIPAA, and Workers Compensation),

1. Forklift certification or relevant experience to obtain certification.

Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports.

Good mathematical and analytical skills.

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing more than 50+ pounds.

Ability to work in physically demanding environments.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $18.00
