The Geographic Information team is essential to the success of Northwest Atlantic and is recognized for providing superior demographics and market study services. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Geographic Information Analyst.

Job Summary: The Junior Demographergeographic Information Analyst will generate geographic information for assigned regions, prepare computer-generated maps and reports, and provide administrative support to local Dealmakers.

Salary Range $65,000-$75,000 annually

Key Interfaces: Works directly with regional Dealmakers, representatives of Costco, and various vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and graphs for the needs in the assigned regions using MapInfo as requested by regional Dealmakers.

Process requests and inquiries directly from Costco Operations for market strategy maps and presentation materials.

Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including research and representation of data as assigned.

Provide administrative support to regional dealmakers by preparing accurate and timely expense reports, proofreading documents, booking travel, preparing tour books, and meeting other administrative needs as requested.

Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, receiving office guests, mail processing and preparation, ensuring all office equipment, ensuring computers are

functioning correctly, filing, scheduling deliveries, and ordering office supplies.

Required Skills:

General knowledge of geographic information systems.

Familiarity with data analysis and statistics display.

Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in MapInfo.

Education and Experience:

Certificate in GIS or two years of relevant work experience in geographic information systems.
