Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales for their respective territory. A key aspect of the role is cultivating strong customer relationships with market influencers, customers, and contractors in the building of concrete masonry residential and commercial buildings. The Account Manager will also accumulate market intelligence to develop a growth plan for Cast Crete’s existing and new products and services. In addition to strong product knowledge, the Account Manager must possess strong communication, problem solving, prospecting, and closing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate profitable sales with both existing and new customers
Develop and maintain loyal customer and industry relationships, i.e. building architects and specifiers, municipality engineers, etc.
Drive customer retention by understanding their business needs and helping them eliminate pain points
Execute a proactive business development campaign to quality prospects, assess needs, and acquire new customers
Pursue relationships with potential new accounts and identify business opportunities to upsell products and services to both existing and new accounts
Manage day-to-day client communication as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects
Develop market intelligence by understanding market influencers, trends, growth opportunities, and the competition
Respond to requests for proposals and quotes in a timely manner
Develop deep knowledge of Cast Crete products and services
Quickly and efficiently resolve customer complaints and problems
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma required
A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred
Minimum of 5 years outside direct sales or account management experience, preferably in building products or construction
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong organizational, time management skills and ability to multi-task
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner
