Salary: $58,000 - $62,000/annually

About the Program and Position:

Cayuga Center's Human Resources Department has 5+ HR Professionals, including recruiters, benefits administrators, specialists, generalists, and assistants based in New York City, Florida, and Auburn, NY.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter will develop, track, and report metrics to evaluate the overall effectiveness of recruitment plans. The Recruiter will assess trends and internal employee turnover patterns to recommend changes to the existing recruitment activities to meet changing market conditions. This position will source, screen, and schedule candidates for interviews for all agency vacancies.

How You Will Use Your Skills:

Assess candidates' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes through phone screen interviews

Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, media, and internet sites

Develop proactive candidate pipelines for key roles, focusing on diversity of candidate pool

Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications in partnership with program staff

Develop, track and report metrics to evaluate overall effectiveness of agency's recruiting process, tools and systems

Assess external competitor trends and internal employee turnover patterns to recommend changes to the existing recruitment activities to meet changing market conditions

Manage ongoing relationships with recruiting-related vendors to ensure satisfactory and compliant standards of service

Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation

Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition, as needed

Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System

Assist in performing reference checks for potential employees

Assist in preparing offer packages

Schedule: Exempt

Regular hours entail Monday - Friday, 9:00am -5:00pm

Must be flexible to meet agency needs

Associate degree in a related field & two years in high-volume recruiting, sourcing, search, staffing, sales, or vendor management experience

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of current trends and diverse sourcing strategies; including best practices in social media usage/technology, recruitment trends, and cold calling

Effective communication skills for interacting with executives, middle-level managers, employees, job applicants and the general public

Ability to multitask in a fast paced dynamic environment with a sense of urgency

Requires working well with people of diverse backgrounds, and knowing how to represent Cayuga Centers in a positive manner

Highly skilled in MS Office and working knowledge of web-based HRIS or equivalent systems is required

Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a flexible team context

Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible manner

Valid FL Driver's License - required
