The Extrusion Operator position must be proficient in producing pet food kibble within a set specification.

The key responsibilities will include:

Must have overall knowledge of Mill processing and ration flow.

Must be proficient in product specifications.

Must have overall knowledge of operating extruders, dryers, and coolers.

Must be proficient at determining and regulating feed, fat, and water rates.

Responsible to perform quality checks for product specifications including bulk density, piece size uniformity, moisture content, and nutrient content. Monitor the preconditioner CCP#1 temperature requirement (185 or higher).

Must be proficient in the knowledge of the ration screener, regrind mill, and grinding bin capacities.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work in hot temperatures.

Must be able to work at heights.
