Job Summary –
The Implementation Project Manager plays a critical part of the TwinSpires B2B team, by managing all aspects of projects- from inception to successful close, ensuring efficient and effective project management methodology is applied, and all deliverables are met throughout the lifecycle. This role is responsible for the integration and implementation of new business partners with our current product and service offerings. This role is onsite at the CDI corporate office in Louisville, KY and may include up to 15% travel.
Essential Functions –
Oversee an individual portfolio of projects in multiple phases
Lead and facilitate planning and working sessions to assist in determining project approach and overall timelines associated with project requirements
Create detailed project requirements documents and task-level project plans to organize cross-functional teams and external partners
Actively manage stakeholder engagement and expectations throughout the project life cycle
Ensure critical path is defined and delivery dates are actively managed
Direct, negotiate and manage conflict resolution to ensure cross-functional team members, often with disparate priorities, remain focused on project objectives
Ensure the required tracking and reporting take place
Ability to follow-through and manage the challenge of multiple priorities under deadlines.
Working knowledge in the use of industry standard PM methodologies and tools
Capacity to understand and quickly process basic technology concepts
Ability to adapt to new and changing business environments
Excellent time management skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Provide clear communications through strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and tactfully with all levels of the organization
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrate conflict management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams
Available to travel; up to 15%
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Education and/or Experience:
Demonstrated experience in PM tools (e.g. MS Project, Daptiv PPM, VISIO and all other Microsoft related products)
5 years of IT Project Management experience
BS/BA degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
Must be able to obtain required Racing and Gaming Licenses.
PMP Certification through Project Management Institute.
