JOB DESCRIPTION: Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will lead our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and the overall warehouse facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a well-organized and productive warehouse environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.

Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Manage and optimize inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and reconciliations.

Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely receipt and delivery of goods.

Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance and productivity.

Troubleshoot and resolve any warehouse-related issues or discrepancies.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment.

Implement and maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance to senior management.

Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

EXPERIENCE:

5 years of proven experience in warehouse management and logistics operations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Knowledge of inventory management best practices and software.

Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment.

Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Standing and walking for extended periods.
