Job Description:

Reporting to the PULSE Manager of Certification, the Certification Analyst will manage a variety of complex initiatives for PULSE direct connect processors and signature debit participants. The Certification Analyst will handle customer certification testing for new and emerging products and services in the payments industry, including EMV, Token, and In-App Purchases. Projects can be defined within multiple processing platforms and can span across multiple network gateways (i.e. Star, NYCE, Maestro, Interlink etc.) and EFT message formats (PULSE ISO 8583, Base I & II, SMS, etc). The analyst will be responsible for administering host and terminal testing with clients, performing database changes to facilitate the testing, troubleshooting issues that arise both internally and at the client, and keeping logs and reports for audit purposes.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities

· Performs CED database configurations in certification environment.

· Executes test scripts with clients.

· Troubleshoots, analyzes, and resolves complex issues for both switch operation and customer-related problems.

· Prepares test summary reports.

· Provides training for certification staff

· Provides backup support for Certification Analysts and Certification Project Manager

· Ensures database procedures are up to date and accurate

· Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

· 2+ years of experience in Payments, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

If we had our say, we’d also look for:

· Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

· 1+ year of experience in Software Testing and/or Implementation, or related experience

· Chip, Token, Tandem (CED) experience preferred

· 1+ year of relevant operations or industry experience

Compensation:The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65,000.00 to $109,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
