Job Description

Are you looking for a new opportunity to change careers into the administrative and health care field in a professional office setting? If so, then this could be the position for you. RHC is currently searching for Patient Billing Representatives. In this role, you would perform various billing and customer service tasks including but not limited to answering billing questions from patients via phone and email, and authorizing insurance verification and eligibility requirements. We offer a team-based environment with extensive training to ensure confidence and success of our staff and patients.

Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding customer service to patients via phone and email

Assist patients with billing and insurance related questions and concerns

Answer incoming phone calls from patients in a professional and timely manner; projecting proper telephone etiquette

Handling a high volume of inbound/outbound calls

Perform patient eligibility confirmations with insurance companies via phone and electronically

Process pre-authorization functions in accordance with insurance guidelines via phone and electronically

Gain knowledge of the company’s respiratory products and services

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills:

Excellent communicator with a passion to provide outstanding customer service

Comfortable speaking on the phone with patients and/or their caregivers

Organized with proficient computer skills

Self-motivated and able to prioritize daily work flow

Attention to detail

High school diploma or equivalent required
