THE LOWER SHORE CLINIC IS GROWING!

We are building a new team and expanding our services thanks to a $4 million funding stream.

Now hiring for 4-day work week Monday- Thursday. You will work 36 hours, but we will pay you for 40 hours.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGER

Position Summary:

The Assistant AR Manager is responsible for the review of Accounts receivables and providing supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

Review Accounts Receivable, which includes data entry, reconciliation, reports, authorizations, electronic, billing, and collections.

Assist AR Manager with duties.

Train employees in paperwork requirements per regulations and in-house procedures.

Responsible for accounts, including delinquent or re-billed, and managing cash payment cycle.

Provides guidance to Medical staff and providers to ensure correct information is submitted for billing and keep them informed of any changes.

Maintains files on provider license for billing.

Maintains correspondence with EDS, Medicare, CHDP, private insurance companies, software vendors and patients.

Manage, investigate, seek collection, and write-off, as appropriate, uncollectible accounts monthly.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPC certification preferred.

Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) certification is preferred.

Two years or more of supervisory experience.

Minimum five years of experience in patient accounting environment and medical billing experience.

Experience with EMR billing and collections and proficient in electronic claims system and other software.

Experience performing credentialing medical providers.
