Our well-established client in Hillcrest is looking for a Communications Officer working from Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 12:30 pm. 6-month contract position with potential for renewal based on performance.
Requirements:
3-5 years experience in a public relations or corporate communications role
Proficiency in FreshDesk or similar customer service management software
Excellent emotional intelligence and the ability to approach customer interactions with diplomacy and empathy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational capabilities
Interdepartmental coordination

Role Overview:
As a Communications Officer, you will be a crucial part of the team, responsible for representing the brand and maintaining positive relationships with customers, community, influencers and organisations. You will play a key role in managing the customer careline, community engagement, influencer relations, public relations and collaborative efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the customer careline, ensuring timely and empathetic responses to customer inquiries and concerns
Oversee community management efforts, engaging with community members across various platforms and fostering a positive and supportive environment
Handle influencer management, including identifying, engaging and maintaining relationships with influencers aligned with brand values
Execute public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation
Collaborate with like-minded organisations on mutually-beneficial initiatives and partnerships
