REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Engineering, with a specialisation in Mechanics and Automation
At least 7 years of maintenance/ engineering experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment with
At least 3 years of experience in managerial positions
Working knowledge of quality systems and Health, Safety and Environment skills
Computer knowledge and skills
Innovation and change management skills
Strong people management skills, interpersonal and communication
Languages: minimum bilingual (English required)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct the manufacturing engineers/ process specialists, in defining technical specifications for new equipment and alterations to existing equipment and facilities including leading project launches and production transfers
Direct and coordinate both repair and preventative maintenance requirements for all equipment in the plant
Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for the facility
Support the development of target material and information flow analysis (MIFA) and plant layout
Develop capital budget requirements to adhere to established facility standards
Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening: subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, and security systems
Direct the management of spare parts and consumables warehouses for the plant
Recommend safety policies and ensure safety/ legal controls are tested and reliable
Be responsible for the computer-aided maintenance management system for the plant
Ensure the continuous development and coaching of the maintenance and manufacturing engineering team
