Responsibilities:
- Managing reservations and bookings
- Handling check-in and check-out procedures
- Providing information and guidance to guests regarding room and facility services
- Email and telephone correspondence
- General administrative duties
- Addressing guest questions and concerns
- Processing payments
- Maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
Requirements:
- 1+ years of hotel front desk experience
- Japanese proficiency at a business level (N2 or above)
- Daily conversational level of English
- Strong hospitality skills
- Educational qualifications in hospitality management or a related field are preferred
- Multilingual skills beyond English (e.g., Spanish, French) are an advantage
- Relevant certifications or training in hospitality management, customer service, or front desk operations are a plus
Work Experience:
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service with the ability to provide a memorable guest experience
- Familiarity with reservation systems (knowledge of specific systems is a bonus)
- Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and find creative solutions
- The capacity to engage in sales and upselling, enhancing guest experiences
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced hotel environment
- Keen attention to detail in check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring billing accuracy and room assignments
- Proficiency in conflict resolution, handling difficult situations with professionalism and discretion
- A proven track record of collaborating effectively within a team to ensure smooth operations
