Job Requirements:

Languages – English

Education – No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience – Minimum 2 years of experience fabricating / installing cabinets.

Knowledge of and ability to install BLUM Tip-On Bluemotion handleless furniture systems for drawers and for fronts with overlay hinges.

Knowledge of and ability to install electrically powered furniture systems such as BLUM Servo-drive as a main drive for BLUM HK and BLUM HF.

Knowledge of and ability to install electrically powered furniture systems such as BLUM Servo-drive as a complementary component to the Tip-on system.

Knowledge of and ability to install overhead cabinets on Camar's system of steel mounting strips.

Knowledge of and ability to properly adjust Camar 807 and 806 furniture hangers.

Ability to read design and implementation documentation in the form of technical drawings.

Skill in installing sliding door systems for cabinets and pass-through doors.

Skill in using specialized electrical equipment such as: a Festool track saw with guide, Festool milling machine (for milling channels for LED lighting).

Skill in connecting and installing LED lighting in aluminum ducts as overhead lighting and ambient lighting for a room, such as a bedroom.

Knowledge of and ability to use tools such as a level, screwdriver, jigsaw and angle grinder.

Knowledge of box furniture construction as well as accessories and hardware for assembly and correct installation.

Work experience as an installer or on similar position (e.g., in furniture manufacturing related) will be considered

Area of Specialization – Kitchen Cabinets and vanities.

Major Work Area – Construction, Installation

Specific Skills – Follow layouts provided to install kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities in homes including crown molding and other trim / accessories.

Repaired damage to cabinetry sustained during delivery before installation.

Build mock-up units for supervisor approval.

Install under cabinet LED lighting.

Move, sort and spread boxes of kitchen cabinets to work areas.

Customize kitchen cabinets as per required dimensions.
