Synopsis: Buses all over the DMV (District of Columbia, MD, Northern VA) and all around the USA have a bus driver shortage. Whether the bus is county bus, city bus, national bus that provides buses around the around the world like intercity buses or commuter buses or trains, or a school bus, there is a huge bus driver shortage and train driver shortage around the country. People around the country are being left stranded. Both public transportation buses and public transportation trains including both intercity buses and intercity trains have a driver shortage and staffing shortage. Some of the bus companies have been accused of not paying a livable wage. Some public transportation commuter buses, intercity buses, and school bus companies have recently gone up on low wages that are only a hair above the minimum at 17hr to 24/hr but with ever rising rental costs and with some apartment rents around the country ranging from over 2,000 to 4,000 per month bus companies that pay less than livable or competitive wages are now struggling to get bus drivers to show up for. Funding is not in place for this particular project. Some freelance camera operators will be paid after 60 days test video rates of 120/day. If project accepted you can get an additional 350/day. So the pay is 120/day for now for test video and up to 350/day deferred if project accepted if you are a camera operator with equipment.

Camera Operator with Equipment needed.
Camcorders or similar: Sony PMW Ex1, Sony XD70 Camcorder, or Prosumer Sony HDR FX 7 or similar, Panasonic HVX 200, Panasonic HC X20- 4k Camcorder HD or similar camcorder
Compensation: 120/day for test video, up to 375/day deferred if project is distributed, must be able to send test video footage via digital content delivery within 5 business days of the shoot
Equipment Crew Needed
Production Intern (college credit plus transportation stipend) of 16/hr of travel time each day averages out to 50/day for test videos, up to 150/day deferred if project distributed
On-Screen talent to talk with passengers at commuter bus and intercity bus terminals around the country starting all around the DMV. Then other cities will be covered including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Columbus, OH etc.
Note: Some footage may be integrated in a short documentary with reenactments.
All crew and On-screen talent must be 21 and over!
