Maple Rain International Business Corp. is now hiring 1 Bookkeeper.

Job Description:

- Title: Bookkeeper

- NOC: NOC 12200

- Position(s) Available: 1

- Work Location(s): 9873 33 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6N 1B6

- Weekly Hours: 30

- Compensation: $28.85 per hour

Benefit:

- 10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:

- Completion of secondary school is required;

- Completion of a college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field;

OR

- Completion of two years of a recognized program or courses in accounting or bookkeeping and at least 2 years of experience in the related field is required.

- Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.

Job Responsibilities:

- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.

- Calculate Cxed assets and depreciation.

- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, employees’ compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents.

- Keep Cnancial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

- Post journal entries

- Prepare other statistical, Cnancial and accounting reports
