Inherent Job Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4 Qualification
Relevant tertiary qualification related to Sales and Marketing, would be advantageous
MS Office proficient, particularly on MS Outlook, Word and advance Excel
Min 3 - 5 years' relevant working experience in sales and merchandising, preferably within the furniture industry
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Reliable car and valid driver’s license
Willingness to work overtime as and when required
Good English verbal and written communication skills
Able to work and adapt comfortably in a fast-paced environment
Effective problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills

Job Description
Working closely with operations and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction
Assisting customers with complaints or inquiries related to products, services, or purchases and resolving these issues or complaints in a timeous manner
Ensure that agreed merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable floor space
Assisting in establishing sales goals and consequently developing and promoting a market plan and strategy
Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects, sales associates and customers
Achieving weekly, quarterly, monthly, and annual volume and budget/margin sales targets
Tracking volumes, numbers, and margins by reviewing sales reports
Managing client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
Ensure that products are displayed appropriately in stores
Ensure all relevant POS (point of sales) and FAB (feature advantages and benefits) of product sheets are correctly and professionally displayed on each product
Conduct sales and product training to sales staff and managers on a regular basis
Promote new retail catalogues and advertised lines with sales associates
Promote the BGSP mandatory products and other promotions to boost sales volumes
Monitor sales on a daily basis
