Hiring a cook
Qualification:
- Completion of high school is required.
- Several years (2~3 years) of commercial cooking experience or completion of college or other program in cooking is required.
- Ability to prepare traditional & fusion Japanese hot food menu (including katsu, ramen and etc.) is an asset.
- English is required for this position.
Main duties:
- Plan, cook and complete Japanese hot food dishes; manage inventory & kitchen operation; keep clean kitchen; determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and cost; supervise and train helpers in culinary preparation techniques used.
Wage & Benefits:
$18.50 per hour with 4% vacation pay of gross salary or 10 days paid vacation and group health insurance
Working hours:
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day (full-time and permanent position)
