Electrical Design Engineer

Based in DUBAI but flexible to travel to IRAQ

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will work closely with the Pipeline Project Engineering team. Familiarity with instrumentation and controls would be an asset but not a requirement.

•Participate in project design including the review of engineering deliverables and attendance in design review meetings; HAZOP and Drawing Reviews.

•Coordinate and support project contracts and procurement; assist in the development of the project procurement plan, preparation or review of RFQs, review of vendor/contractor proposals, prepare or review technical and commercial evaluations, prepare award recommendations and vendor/contractor management.

•Collaborate with and support operations and construction to resolve operability and constructability issues during project planning and execution phases.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/ QIUALIFICATIONS:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years’ experience in Upstream Oil & Gas.

•Experience with selection and sizing of primary and back up electrical power generation systems and associated controls

•Must be able to guide a team of engineers in office as well as in the field.
