Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace defective components.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and coordinate computer network access and use.
• Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
• Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs.
• Train users on the proper use of hardware and software.
• Configures and maintains Microsoft Active Directory, MS Azure, Office 365
• Installs, configures and maintains IPS/IDS, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Antimalware, etc. for maximum internal network protection.
• Maintains Unified Communications, VoIP, and any related equipment, services, and platforms.
• Dress, terminate and test cables and components including CAT6.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience in a system and network administrator role
• Hands on experience in security, networking, routing and switching.
• Good Knowledge in network cabling and termination
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
• Good knowledge with cloud platform such as (MS Azure, Office 365, Intune, and MDM)
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware and virtual machines.
• Ability to set up, configure and manage Windows Server OS, AD, and DNS Servers
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
• Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking.
• Having valid transferable iqama.
