Shift:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday with early morning variable start times. Local and out of state driving. Possible overnight (company paid hotel).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.

Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.

Maintain a strong commitment to safety.

Comply with DOT regulations.

Familiar with E Logs and DOT regulations or willing to learn to use E Logs.

Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.

Able to lift, bend, stop, twist, move, push and pull up to 40 pounds; tolerate prolonged sitting while driving.

Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).

Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.

The work is characterized as light work. Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Minimum Requirements and Employee Expectations:

Must be 21+ years of Age

Valid driver's license

Current DOT Medical Card (or willing to obtain)

Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).

Successful completion of a background check and drug screening

Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications

Basic computer, tablet and/or smartphone skills and GPS and other routing systems

Experience driving 24 - 26ft box trucks.

Be a quick learner, detail-oriented, dependable, have a positive attitude

Communication proficiency - Able to follow verbal and written directions

Must NOT be restrictive for access on military bases
