Responsibilities

• Directly manage the day to day operations of the establishment

• Directly responsible for overseeing the flow of guests

• Spot-check the quality of food and service

• Manage inventory and ordering to ensure that all supplies are available and used in a timely and cost-effective manner

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other partners to ensure the best possible service and pricing

• Facilitate and organize set up for functions, opening and closing procedures, nightly cash out procedures, and related financial reports

• Assist in managing costs, keeping labour below our target weekly

• Control labour cost through effective forecasting, appropriate employee schedules and accurate payroll reporting

• Balance and reconcile bi-weekly payroll hours for the establishment including overtime, leaves, vacation

• Propose plans to increase employee productivity, motivation and morale and execute as directed

• Ensure that all employees adhere to all Company policies

• Responsible for weekly/daily recaps that entail various aspects of the shift including but not limited to; service standards, allergy procedure, staffing, sales, profit and proactive solutions to mitigate future risk

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws

• Ensure all feedback is investigated, reported and addressed internally with parties involved

• Participate in marketing plans and implementations

Qualifications

• A diploma from a secondary school is required

• One (1) to two (2) years of related experience in management of the restaurant operations or related operations is required

• Experience managing, coaching, training and developing employees

• Detail oriented, process driven and ability to problem solve in high-volume and demanding fast-paced environments

• Able to communicate clearly in weekly meetings regarding any issues and providing solutions for them

• Strong sense of teamwork and a passion for food and guest experience

• Ability to manage in-store budgets and forecasts

• Ability to engage others and develop high performance within your team

• Basic Marketing skills, including Social Media are required
