Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to direct and supervise all activities in lumber manufacturing quality control process.

You must be willing to:

• Provide training & certification of lumber grading employees

• Conduct quality control checks throughout lumber manufacturing process

• Report quality parameter performance on a routine basis/assist in correcting deficiencies

• Establish & maintain effective work relationships within department, company and community

• Complies with environmental regulations when using, dispensing, or handling hazardous or non-hazardous materials & wastes

• Maintains the professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, & skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities

• Performs work following safety procedures & practices

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY):

• College degree preferred

• 5 years’ experience in lumber & S.P.I.B. inspections

• Excellent computer skills (+ MS Office)

• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

• Have excellent time management, organizational skills, & problem-solving skills
